In 1962 Rivad created this series of an old married couple’s last farewell. The wife comes to visit her dying husband at the hospital. Neither the couple nor Rivad knew that the husband would die the same night.
The series – one of Rivad’s most typical and most known works – was published in the book 8 Skildringer (8 Stories) in 1975.
